Shraddha kicked off her dance journey at the age of 7 and ever since, dance has been more than just a hobby to her. She built her foundation in dance by training in Bharatnatyam for 9 years in India. She dedicated 4 years to learning Bollywood dance at the Shiamak Davar Institute of Dance in Mumbai where she also trained to be an instructor, and performed on stage alongside Marzi Pestonji and Shiamak Davar himself. 
She moved to the US to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at NC State. In her time at NC State University, she was a part of the Bollywood Fusion Dance team, NCSU Nazaare, and participated in several dance competitions along the east coast.

Meghna has been dancing for the past 20+ years. She is trained in Indian Classical Dance, Bharatnatyam and was also a captain of her college dance team at Clemson University, South Carolina. 
Meghna excels in classical, Bollywood, Folk, and Western dance forms. She was also a dance instructor at Peoria, IL. 

Roopa has learnt Kathak for 15 years from a renowned guru of Banaras gharana. She has done her Kathak Visharad (B.A.) from Akhil Bharteey Gandharva Vidyalaya She has won All India and regional level prizes in Kathak.While pursuing classical dance she has also performed folk dance, semi classical dance and has participated in many dance shows and musical dramas. To name a few: Maharashtrachi Lokadhara, Vasundhara the musical.

She also performed in in the movie Devdas along side Madhuri Dixit and many film actors/actress in Times Awards.She has choregraphed dances for many events in Mumbai for stage & TV shows; and for stage shows here in US as well

Shivani has been training in Bollywood dance for the past 11 years, 7 of which were spent training with Taal Harmony. She has performed at numerous events in the RTP area, including the 2023 SHAKE THE GROUND competition (senior category), which Taal won first place in. Along with Bollywood, she has also learned other dance styles such as Garba, Contemporary, and Kuthu. Before becoming an instructor at Taal Harmony, she worked with students of all ages - from 3 year olds to adults - for 2 years as an intern at Taal. 
Outside of Taal, Shivani is the event organizer for her high school's Bollywood dance team.

Outstanding dancer and choreographer, Rohini began her formal training in Kathak under Guru Zafar Mulla of the Benaras Gharana, and her specialization is in Abhinaya. She has 7 years of training & excelled in the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya exams. Accompanying a strong foundation in the traditional dance styles, she has in her repertoire training in many other disciplines such as folk, western, hip-hop and contemporary from several noted dance teachers such as Shefali Lahoti, Ratnakar Shelke & president award winner Sanjeeb Bhattacharya over the years. Now a choreographer for the past 20 years, Rohini's vision reflects an amalgamation of several dance styles. With an array of awards at national and international levels under her belt, one of her most prized  moments was winning the All India Inter Collegiate Folk Dance Competition at IIT, Mumbai. While in Japan as a Japanese government scholarship recipient, she was invited to perform at several places.

Dhanashri has completed Visharad in Bharatnatyam from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and has also completed Diploma in Bharatnatyam from Nalanda Institute . She has been pursuing Odissi Dance form at Vaishnovi Kala Kshetra since 2009 under the teachings of Guru.Ms.Asha Nambiar and currently undertaking advanced training under the able guidance of Guru Sanchita Bhatacharya.
She has participated in numerous dance ballets all over India. One of her most memorable performances was Radha Krishna and Panchatatva ballet performed with the actress Gracy Singh.

Rudra started learning Kathak at the age of 8 & pursued a Kathak Visharad
(B.A) degree from Gandharav Vidyalaya in Jaipur Gharana. Rudra's Kathak education was under the guidance of Dr. Madhuri Apte from Banaras
Gharana. Her consistent passion for dancing led her to explore & participate in many dance competitions and shows.1 st prize at Gujarat youth dance
festival, 2 nd prize at Baroda local News dance competition & a string of Prizes
at Garba, just to name a few.Her strong foundation in folk & semi classical dances started her on a journey of conducting various dance workshops in different schools. Back in India she used to conduct Kathak classes as well. Having performed with the renowned singers like Rekha Bhardwaj & Sadhana Sargam. Apart from a repertoire in Kathak and folk dances she has also learned Bollywood and other dynamic dance styles at Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts.

DHANASHRI MIRVANKAR | Instructor

Anvita has done 7 years of dedicated training in Indian classical dance under her Guru Roopa Luktuke, with a current focus on preparing for her Visharad Poorna Kathak Exam to finish Kathak Visharad from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. She's been training in Bollywood for nearly 11 years, performing in many events across Cary and India. Anvita has been dancing with Taal Harmony for 6 years; she interned at Taal for 4 years before becoming an instructor. While being a part of Taal she has performed at several popular events, including HumSub Diwali, Holi organized by the Town of Morrisville, the Shake the Ground competition, and many more. In addition to kathak and Bollywood, Anvita has learned and performed various dance styles including Bhangra, Lavni, Gondhal, Garba, Kuthu, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, and Jazz.


Choreographer
Rohini not only loves to dance herself, but is a dedicated teacher with students who have gone on to win prestigious competitions such as Boogie Woogie organized by Sony, Inc. and Shake the Ground (2023 competition). She has also been a judge for many national level inter collegiate dance competitions. She has taught dance at several schools, colleges, non-profit and corporate organizations and also organized international level fund-raising performances in India and the US. She is also involved in theaters and has played lead roles in Marathi and English professional plays. 

Irina has been a fan of Bollywood and Bhangra dance ever since she went to New York and joined Bollywood Axion dance classes. She became obsessed with this unfamiliar, full of energy and emotions dance.


Irina is originally from Moldova with Bengali roots and a love for Indian dance and music. She became a BollyX Certified Instructor in 2021 and is determined to promote the wellness aspect of dance in our everyday lives.

Irina's classes at Taal always start off with BollyX dance warm-ups which are loved by students of all ages.
